Prof. Juan Manuel Palerm Salazar
is

is Professor of Architectural Project
and Landscape Urban Project-Design
at the School of Architecture -
University of Las Palmas de Gran
Canaria (Spain). He is also Director of
the
Canary
Islands Landscape
Observatory
and Professor
and
researcher at the University IUAV of
Venice and Trento.
Prof. Rainer Horn
is one of the most
distinctive soil scientists of our days.
He works at the Institute of Plant
Nutrition and Soil Science of the
Christian Albrechts University zu Kiel,
Germany. His research interests
include stress strain effects in
structured soils, soil structure effects,
chemical as well as hydraulic
processes in structured soils, coupled
processes in structured unsaturated
soils, waste deposit management
capping systems, soil tillage effects on
soil properties and functions, chemical
and biological aspects of soil
aggregates and carbon sequestration.
Up to now he has written 18 books
and monographs and published 300
papers in refereed international
journals. He is President elected of the
International Union Soil Science
for the period 2013- 2014.
Dr. Bas Perdoli
is the Director of
the

Network
of
Universities especially dedicated to the
implementation of the European
Landscape Convention. He works as
Associate
Professor

Senior
Researcher at the Alterra - Spatial
knowledge systems / University of
Wageningen, the Netherlands. His
