Greek golf standards released
The golf field at Porto Carras, Chalkidiki,
Northern Greece
The ministry of Tourism signed the
new law (21527, ΦΕΚ 2905/Β/29-10-
2014) regarding the determination of
golf fields standards for Greece.
Among others the text includes
information regarding the water
resources for irrigation and the
irrigation system design, construction
and management.

Greek registry of water supply
points
A new law (published in ΦΕΚ
2878/Β/27-10-2014)
has
been
published regarding the permission of
using
water
and
relevant
constructions. According to the Special
Secretariat
for
Water
which
responsible for water usage, the new
law simplifies the procedure regarding
registration of water supply points.
All citizens that posses wells, drillings
and other water supply points are
called to declare them until the end of
2014 in order to receive the relevant
permission to use them.

Optimized Management) is funded
under the EU 7th Framework Program
and will run for 3 years. The project
